What is made-to-order?

Each piece is created based on what’s ordered during the pre-order window.

Nothing is produced in advance — we only make what’s actually chosen.

This allows us to create in smaller, more considered runs, without excess stock.

How does the $20 deposit work?

You can secure your suit with a $20 deposit or pay in full.

If you choose the deposit, the remaining balance will be charged before your order is shipped.

This gives you the option to secure your piece without paying the full amount upfront.

When will my order ship?

Pre-orders close on April 20.

Once the window closes, all orders go into production.

Orders will be shipped between May 11–15.

Why I made Solebarr

I didn’t start this brand because I wanted another swimsuit. I started it because I was tired of feeling exposed.

Even with sunscreen.
Even with “good” swimwear.
I still got burnt.

After my own skin cancer diagnosis, I couldn’t ignore it anymore.

I’d spent 18 years in the clothing industry.
I knew fabric. I knew fit.
And I knew women deserved better than choosing between cute or covered.

So I designed a layer that feels like protection — not restriction.
